🌿 This retreat is for you if…

  • you feel constantly “on” and need real mental space away from everyday noise
  • you want movement that feels natural and freeing, not forced or high-pressure
  • you love being by the sea, walking outdoors, and feeling properly immersed in nature
  • you want to feel stronger, clearer, and more like yourself again
  • you’re craving simplicity — early starts, coastal air, good food, and time to switch off
  • you want to come home feeling reset in your body and your mind

🌿 Retreat Schedule

Friday – Arrival & Welcome

Arrive from 5:30pm onwards and settle into the house. Take your time to unwind, unpack, and arrive fully into the weekend.

We gather for a welcome dinner at 7:30pm, a relaxed evening to meet the group, connect, and ease into coastal life.

Saturday – Coastal Walk

Optional early morning sea swim (or just dip your toes in) before breakfast for those who want it — a refreshing way to wake the body and mind.

After breakfast, we head out for our first guided coastal walk (approx. 9–12 miles).

This is a beautiful introduction to the North Devon coastline — big sea views, fresh air, and steady movement through changing terrain.

Return to the house for a Devonshire Cream Tea and to rest, shower, and relax.

In the evening, we enjoy a shared dinner together, with time to chat, unwind, and switch off fully.

Sunday – Coastal Walk

Optional early morning sea swim (or just dip your toes in) before breakfast for those who want it — a refreshing way to wake the body and mind.

Another 9–12 mile coastal walk, exploring a different stretch of coastline with more dramatic scenery, quieter paths, and a real sense of space.

Return to the house for cake, rest, read, nap, or simply be.

We finish the day with a final shared dinner, a slower evening to reflect and enjoy the group connection.

Monday – Gentle Close

Check-out is at 10:00am, followed by a gentle coastal walk to close the weekend slowly and intentionally before heading home.

You leave feeling grounded, clearer, and physically recharged.

🌊 Investment

£375 per person

Includes:

  • 3 nights accommodation (Friday–Monday)
  • All meals: breakfasts, lunches, and dinners (Friday evening to Monday morning)
  • Guided coastal walks on both full walking days
  • A fully hosted small-group retreat experience in North Devon

🌿 A final note

This retreat is about simplicity.

Walking, resting, eating well, and giving yourself permission to slow down in one of the most powerful coastal landscapes in the UK.

No pressure. No performance. Just space to breathe again.

🌊 A note on the walking (important)

The North Devon coastline is breathtaking — but it’s not flat or gentle.

Expect:

  • rolling coastal hills and steady climbs
  • uneven, sometimes rocky or muddy paths
  • long stretches of up-and-down cliff walking
  • sections that feel remote and wild, especially between villages

This is what makes it so powerful — you don’t just walk the coast, you experience it.

You don’t need to be “super fit”, but you do need to:

  • enjoy walking for a few hours at a time
  • feel comfortable on uneven ground and coastal hills
  • be happy to take your time, stop often, and go at the pace of the group.

🏡 Hillside & The Barn – Your Coastal Home for the Retreat

This is where we’ll be staying together for the retreat — a beautiful Devon coastal home in Croyde, sleeping up to 12 guests across the main house and a separate barn. It’s just 1 mile from the beach, so we can step straight into coastal walks, sea air, and slow mornings by the sea.

The main house is where we’ll come together — open-plan kitchen, dining and lounge space, a cosy wood burner for evenings in, a snug for anyone wanting a bit of quiet time, and plenty of space to properly switch off and feel at home.

Sleeping in the main house

  • 1 super-king bedroom (zip-and-link, can be twin) on the ground floor
  • 2 king bedrooms with en-suites upstairs
  • 1 twin room (zip-and-link, can be super-king)
  • 1 super-king/twin Barn room. (see below)
  • Family bathroom

The barn sits just alongside the main house and gives those who would like a little extra privacy if they want it. It has a super-king bedroom (which can also be set up as twins), a family wet room, and a kitchen/diner downstairs. Upstairs is a light-filled lounge with doors opening onto a private deck — perfect for a quiet coffee, journaling, or just sitting with the view.

Outside, this is proper coastal living — those easy, unstructured moments that end up being some of the best parts of the trip.

Imagine how good it will feel to wake up by the coast with nowhere to rush to.

Just walking shoes, sea air, good company, and a few days to properly reset.
